Within the Drama Department we pride ourselves on the range and quality of valuable cultural experiences that we offer our students throughout their time at the school.

Our aim is to develop each individual in order that they attain their potential. We attempt to customise our curriculum in order that the students can transfer skills and be equipped to use those skills whether to present a talk to the board of a large multinational company, act a role at the National Theatre, establish a successful business or explain their individual strengths when on their first interview. At the heart of what we do is a desire to enhance and encourage students’ creativity and develop their confidence in themselves as active learners.

As well as specific successes in a range of styles and genres, we have gained a reputation for skilled imaginative contemporary theatre which encourages the students to develop their ability on stage and meet these advanced theatrical challenges. Indeed, we all are grateful for the opportunity to work with such a talented group of students.
