SPORTS HALL  30.17 m x 17.06 m ( 99 ft x 56 ft)

 Our Sports Hall is a massive 514.70 sq. m in size and is one of the most popular areas of the school.

Complete with indoor cricket nets which cover an area the size of 2 wickets, an indoor basketball court, with springback rings, and 4 Badminton courts, this multi-purpose area is also used for other sports such as 5-a-side football, indoor netball, Handball, and indoor tennis.

GYMNASIUM  21.03 m x 12.34 m ( 69 ft x 40 ft 6 inches)

Covering an area   259.51 m squared, the Gymnasium is fully equipped with a vast range of equipment to perform gymnastics.

Not to be confused with our Fitness suite, the Gym and Sports Hall go hand and offer a wide range of sporting options.

We also have Table Tennis equipment, Gym mats for Aerobics etc., High Jump equipment and Fitness steps, all available to help you achieve your fitness aims.

Our Gymnasium has been used not only by a 60 piece Orchestra for practice purposes, it has also seen Exams take place for Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue recruits taking their entrance exams.

DANCE STUDIO

A very popular area, the dance studio is only available for hire on Sundays as it is so in demand!

The dance studio has all that is required for teaching dance, with a full height mirrored wall, and sprung beech flooring. It also provides air conditioning and has a superb sound system.

There is also an educational classroom adjoining the dance studio, which can be hired alongside or instead of the dance studio.

TENNIS & NETBALL COURTS

We have a completely enclosed hard surface area which houses 7 tennis courts and 5 outside netball courts.

There is a tennis pavilion which has both Male & Female toilet and shower areas along with a disabled toilet.

Unfortunately as this facility is not floodlit, it is only available for hire until darkness falls but it is available during summer evenings and weekends.

ARTIFICIAL CRICKET WICKET

Available for midweek use, this full size artificial wicket is permanently marked out for both Senior and Junior use.

Hired as a package, we can also offer the use of our modern Cricket Pavilion, complete with Home and Away changing rooms, both of which contain toilets and hot showers. There is also a separate changing room for umpires with its own shower cubicle and separate toilet.

A fully equipped kitchen and refreshments area allows you to provide teas with an urn and kettle, and even a microwave oven for warming up food if desired.

A full size sink with Hot and Cold Water and sufficient work surfaces for food preparation are also at hand.

There is seating area and tables, enough for 2 full teams to sit down at in the refreshments area.

3G ARTIFICIAL MULTI PLAY AREA

This comes with 4 changing rooms each having their own set of toilets and showers.

Our 3G Pitch is exceptional. Built with rubber crumb infill, and its own floodlighting, the main Football pitch is 90 x 60 m in size.

It is extremely popular and the fact that the 3G also offers a full size Hockey pitch and 3 x 6-a-side soccer pitches makes it one of the heaviest used of our facilities.

Last year also saw us include American Football to our list of users, and provided a regularly marked American Football pitch which both Lincoln Colonial American Football team and the Nottingham Outlaws American Football Team used to play a series of “Home” League matches here.

GENERAL INFORMATION.

It may be of interest to know that during the Summer months in particular, we have a 400m,9 lane Athletics track, complete with staggered starts and relay boxes, and 100 m straights, which may be of interest to anyone wanting to stage an Athletics meeting.

There is also a Long Jump and Triple Jump pit with safety surface run up, shot, discus and javelin areas , as well as 4 Rounders pitches for a Rounders tournament - all for hire, should the need arise, during the evening or weekend period, out of school hours.
