Ski Trip 2018 – Folgarida, Italy

Easter Holiday trip leaving on Friday 30th March and returning on Friday 6th April.

Trip Leaders:  Mr M Whitaker and Ms H Meneer

Folgarida is in the Trentino region of Italy and is the Val di Sole (Valley of the Sun) which is part of the beautiful Brenta Dolomites.  The village is at an altitude of 1400m and the skiing peaks reach 2200m.  The resort has a good snow record for Easter and with over 100km of slopes, there is plenty to keep skiers of all abilities enthused for the week.  We are staying in the 3* Hotel Anna Maria on a full board basis.  Students have 5 days skiing with 5 hours of lessons per day.

Due to the outdoor and adventurous nature of this activity, we place great emphasis on positive student behavior in school being a key factor in being allowed a place on this trip.  Students need to be able to listen, act responsibly and treat others with respect so that they themselves and other members of the party are able to enjoy their trip in a safe and positive environment.

Also we will visit the town and market of Bayeux for some cultural experience of a French town. A visit to La Cite De La Mer, an unforgettable day out, full of excitement, during which we will have fun, be filled with wonder and learn all there is to know about deep-sea exploration. A variety of entertainment is provided in the evenings, including a quiz, bowling and fancy dress party and disco! Travel will be by coach and the Eurotunnel, leaving on the early hours of Tuesday 10th March 2015 and returning on Saturday 14th March 2015.
